Do I have to live in Kaufman to book?
Not at all. Most of our clients travel from Dallas and surrounding areas for their cake smash session. Many of our clients make the trip for a more personalized experience.
When should I book my baby's cake smash session?
The best time to schedule your cake smash session is when your baby is 10–11 months old. This ensures your portraits are ready in time for birthday celebrations, invitations, and sharing with family.
Because sessions are limited each month, we recommend booking early to secure your spot.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes, we ask that you bring the custom cake for your session. This is due to allergies and studio liability. We will guide you on exactly what type of cake works best (and what photographs beautifully).
What if my baby doesn’t like the cake?
That’s completely normal! Every reaction—from curiosity to full-on frosting chaos—is perfect and part of the story.
Do we have to do a cake smash?
No, we are happy to fully customize your baby's First Birthday session to best capture your baby's personality. We offer many fun alternatives to a traditional cake smash. Just ask!
Can family members be included?
Yes! Partners, siblings, and grandparents are always welcome and encouraged to be part of the family portrait session.
