When to Book Your Dallas Newborn Photographer
- The best time to book your newborn session is during your second trimester.
- Posed newborn sessions are photographed within the first 2–3 weeks after birth to capture those sleepy, curled-up poses. Lifestyle newborn sessions can be captured up to 10 weeks old.
- Because we serve a limited number of families each month, early booking is strongly recommended to secure availability around your due date.
When the newborn stage is a blur and your baby has grown, these photographs will bring you back to exactly how it felt.

Do I have to live in Kaufman to book?
Not at all. Most of our clients travel from Dallas and surrounding areas for their newborn session. Many of our clients make the trip for a more personalized experience.
When should I book my newborn session?
To guarantee availability, it's best to book your newborn session at the start of your second trimester. We will tentatively reserve your session based on your due date. Once your baby arrives, please reach out within the first few days so we can finalize your session date.
What age is best for newborn portraits?
For sleepy, fully posed newborn sessions, we recommend photographing your baby between 7-21 days old. For a more relaxed and/ or lifestyle session, we photograph newborns up to 10 weeks old! Both options provide gorgeous images of your baby to cherish forever.
What do families typically purchase?
Most families purchase an Heirloom Baby Album that includes their favorite portraits with the matching digital files.
What is your most popular offering?
Our (First Year} Baby Plan is by far the most popular offering. Families love having a gorgeous Heirloom Baby Album that includes all their favorite images from their sessions during the first year. They also love that it includes the matching digital files.
Do I need to bring anything?
No—everything is provided, including wraps, props, and styling guidance.
Can family members be included?
Yes! Partners, siblings, and grandparents are always welcome and encouraged to be part of your session.
